I just thought I would let all the "Tick" fans know that Season One comes out on DVD this week!
However there is a catch (isn't there always a catch?), according to FilmJunk.com "... it seems The Tick: Season 1 is actually called The Tick: The Belated 10th Anniversary Edition — the reason being that it’s not the “Complete First Season” as one of the 13 first season episodes had to be pulled at the last minute due to those damn legal issues again. So this leads to a lot of speculation as to which episode it is, and whether or not we’ll be seeing Season 2 or 3 on DVD..."
I say who cares? The Tick continues to be one of my favorite animated television shows from college. Although, I'm not sure that is a winning endorsement (Beavis and Butthead was also an all time fave!).
