The trip to Bloomfield was great! The views heading towards the mountains were spectacular, and getting to see John, Amy, and Little Miss Sarah was fantastic.

You should see Porter, their American Bulldog, he is absolutely a monster! His head is the size of a small Volkswagen Bus. I was amazed at his size (can you tell?). But what was even more amazing to me was how nimble and agile he was. At one point in the evening we were playing outside with him and his "ball of fur" sister Sydney, and all the sudden I was looking into the jaws of death. He jumped up and Porter and I were eye-ball to eye-ball.

It is disappointing that we aren't able to see our extended-Colorado family very often - just mostly on holidays when we are traveling to see the Grandparents and Auntie Brea.

Maybe we can talk them into moving back to the South?

We all had a great time hanging out with John, Amy, and Sarah - but I do think Morgan had the most fun!
