December 21 (continued)

Just wanted to tell you how incredible the weather has been here in Colorado. Today we went out and about (see last post) - on the way home the weather is so nice that we road with the windows down.

There is still some snow and ice on the ground (mostly in people's yards and the mountains). But at 12:00 this afternoon the temperature was 65 degrees! In the direct sunshine it is warm enough for shorts, but in the shade - yikes! (a wee-bit cooler). It is amazing how quickly the weather can change from day to day and week to week here!

We are off to Broomfield to see friends this evening. Morgan is feeling much better today! She doesn't appear to have a temperature any longer and the fussiness has decreased dramatically. We expect a full recovery by tomorrow at the earliest.
