Valentine's Day

Today is the day of the year where society tells us we should appreciate our loved ones (i.e., wife, girlfriend - but never both, etc.). I have told Jen on many occasions that I think it is stupid to be expected to bring home flowers, cards, candy, or balloons on the day when it is expected.

Isn't it more fun to bring home "all of the above" for no occasion at all? On a day when nothing is expected?

For our first Valentine's date Jen and I made a special dinner at my apartment and then went to see a play. On our second Valentine's date we met up with friends for a fancy dinner at some posh restaurant. Is it bad that I can't remember the next three years? All I know is that last year for Valentine's Day we had 5 month old baby girl that completely stole our hearts.

What are the plan's for this year? Well this year it is going to be extra special because no matter what we do I get to spend it with my two favorite females in my life - Morgan and Jen. I am grateful that God has blessed and enriched my life with the two coolest people on Earth.

Morgan keeps me laughing with the different expressions she makes, and melts my heart with her smiles, hugs, and kisses.

My wife is everything I could ever ask for. She is beautiful, smart, funny, understanding, beautiful, a great wife, and even better mother. Did I mention beautiful??

Tonight may be like every other night, but I will be sure to thank both of my "valentines" for who they are!
