Double Trouble

Morgan went to the doctor yesterday (she was running a fever between 102-103 on Wednesday night) and we found out that she had a double ear infection! It was a complete shock to both Jen and myself, we both were expecting to hear that Morgan had bronchitis or pneumonia (because of all the coughing), but the doctor said the lungs were clear.

A DOUBLE ear infection would explain the restless and sleepless nights in Colorado this last week. Thankfully, Morgan responds pretty well to antibiotics. After taking a long nap yesterday afternoon and sleeping through the night last night (in our bed), Morgan headed off to school today to hang out with her buddies and teachers.

When I dropped her off this morning, the school's receptionist welcomed Morgan back and all the teachers and some administrators told her they were happy to see she was back and that her friends had missed her!

Fuller responds well to antibiotics also. Makes me happy for modern medicine.

When we were at Lake Martin for July 4th we had to take Fuller into Wetumpka because we thought he had an ear infection. They did a strep swab and I didn't think it was necessary. Turns out my Fuller had strep! I guess somethings we can't diagnose ourselves.
