Political Rant: Presidential Material?

Like him or not, John Kerry has decided that the American public is a bunch of idiots. He wants us to believe that his feelings about the US military was just a "botched" attempt at humor. Here is the video clip of the "joke" (just in case you have been living under a rock for the last couple days).



Now, here is his apology (after saying that he had nothing to apologize for):

Of course I'm sorry about a botched joke. You think I love botched jokes?" Kerry said during an appearance Wednesday on Don Imus' nationally syndicated radio program. "I mean, you know, it's pretty stupid.

I'm sorry that that's happened," he said of his earlier comment. "But I'm not going to stand back from the reality here, which is, they're trying to change the subject. It's their campaign of smear and fear.

So is he sorry for saying that our troops are stupid, or is he sorry that he can't tell a joke? What a dufus!?!
