Morning run

Because of my new job I have the flexibility to work from home. I had a hard time trying to convince my Principal and Department Heads at the three schools that I taught at that I would be more of an effective teacher by working at home. But my new job is 100% online, so I could work from the beach in Jamaica if I had a good Internet connection (that really does not sound like a bad idea).

So this morning instead of having to drive to work in the fog and gloomy weather to work (26 miles = 1 hour 15 minutes), I was able to use my time more wisely. I dropped Morgan off at the babysitter, came home, and went on a run.

The weather was perfect! The fog and gloomy traffic stopping weather was fantastic running weather. In fact it was so good, that I ended up running much faster than I typically run. In August (or early September) I ran my first 5K road race in 27 minutes 24 seconds, well this morning I ran the 3.1 miles (5K) in 24 minutes and 26 seconds. I had taken about 3 minutes off my time! Wholely Runnin' Shoes Batman...

Anyway, I just thought that I would brag!
