Heck Yeah I Want Corn Rows!

After church yesterday, we went to ramble through a corn maze and a pumpking patch. It was a lot of fun! This morning on my way in to work, I realized that I have never been through a corn maze before - maybe watching "Children of the Corn" at the age of 10 was not such a great idea.

The six of us (Jen, Morgan, myself and my sister Christy, her husband Brandon, and their son Jackson) loaded up in the Tahoe and headed about 30 minutes north of ATL for the maze. Uncle Shucks was pretty cool. The weather could not have been nicer - the morning was cool and overcast, but as the day went on the sun began to peek out every now and then, warming up the old Indian tee-pees, pumpkins, cardboard figure cut-outs, freshly grilled corn and fried cakes, as well as the parents dragging their kids through the maze, getting their cards punched at each check point.

As you can see from the above pictures, Morgan had a great time (until she tried to taste a pumpkin - not really what she expected). Jackson had a good time as well, but the rocking back and forth in his stroller along with the warming weather made for a perfect combination for a little afternoon nap.

It was great fun. Thanks Norris Family for going with us to Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Farm.
