Confessional Time

I'm not a MTV "Real Worlder", an alcoholic, drug user, child abuser, or a criminal, and therefore am not sure exactly the way to do this, but I wanted to confess a problem I am having on a daily basis.

I am a "blog stalker". There I said it out in the open. I really do feel much better. It does feel good to come clean about my "problem" (although I'm not sure I would call it a "problem" per se - and yes I do know that "de-nile" is not just a river in Egypt).

I have a number of blogs that I visit each day. Sometimes I am just a user - I read and don't contribute to the blog. Other days, I will contribute to the insanity of the blogging world. Actually most days, I may read something on someone's blog, leave a "comment"; if someone has left a comment and has a blog site I will go race to their blog. I can't help myself. I'm telling you, it is beginning to take over parts of my life.

If I hear people in conversation on the elevator (I know, "people aren't supposed to talk on elevators; they should pause their conversation as they step into the contraption and resume the conversation when they step-out", but occassionally you will have those people that talk through the entire "ride".) I find myself drawn into their world, wanting to give my opinion (LOL!, WTF?, JK!, etc.) and then follow them to their area of the building; seeing if they are having more fun over there.
