"My Throw-up Hurts"

Morgan has not been feeling well the last 24 hours (slight fever, runny nose, soar throat, wet coughs, not sleeping, etc.). She really can't communicate to us as to what is going on so she says that her tummy hurts (which means she wants medicine).

Right before Jen laid down with her tonight, we asked Morgan what hurt - her head, throat, or tummy? She told us, "my throw-up hurt".

Because Morgan has not thrown up since the last time she was sick (a number of weeks ago), we took this to mean that her throat hurt from all the coughing. Or she really could have "vurped" and then it would make sense that her throw-up would hurt.

I hate it that she is feeling crappy. It is so sad to see the pitiful, painful faces she makes when she coughs...
