This weekend was my annual "Men's Weekend." This weekend includes going to Auburn for Tenda Chick, an Auburn football game, poker night, and lots of laughing. Everyone was able to make it this year (Colorado, Missouri, Georgia, and this year we added Florida) - which was awesome! It was great catching up on the lives and families of the guys I hung out with in college (even if the Auburn game sucked). It is awesome to have an instant connection with a group of guys that you have not seen in a year or ten.
These guys rock my world in their love for each other and willingness to open up and be my brothers. We are trying to see if we can pull together for a get-together twice a year (once for the guys only and once for the families at the beach/lake/mountains or something).
We were able to stay at Mom's house again this year AND Kim supplied the football tickets - we probably owe them both about $1000 for room/board, food (awesome chili), drinks (lots of coke and coffee), 6 football tickets on the 30 yard line, and "taxi" rides to and from the game (game day traffic is stupid). We were totally blessed to have such a fantastic host for the weekend! Many thanks to Mom and Kim (from all of us)!

Sounds like fun! Damon plans on going to the Vandy game in October. He will be with Denver Eshee, another Auburn grad who lives here in Chattanooga. I don't know if he plans on making his Auburn Elvis appearance or not, but he hopes it is a good game. We are going to stay with D's parents at Lake Martin and they will drive in for the game.
