I have to admit that Grey's Anatomy is intriguing. I have watched most of this season with Jen and have not really liked it at all. My initial dislike was that it was just a night-time soap, not something I really wanted to get sucked into. The first and second season were pretty good - not too trashy, but this third deserved a Day Time Emmy nomination. I will never watch this stupid show again.
Well my feelings about Grey's have now changed. Was it something that happened during the season? Was it that finally people's "lives" were becoming more real?
No.
I read a recap of the season from the writer Shonda Rimes.
The recap spoke to me on a writer's level. All those stupid "hidden" connections that I recognized through out the season were tied together. Shonda is a great story teller. So why will I tune in next season? Will it be to see if McDreamy and Meredith's sister hook up? Will it be to see if George and Callie continue to stay married, with whiny Lizzie looking on like a wounded puppy?
Not at all.
I'll watch next season to listen to the words and stories that Shonda (and her team) so expertly stitch together.
