Jen, Morgan, and I left yesterday for Colorado on our way to California. We are dropping Morgan off at Grandma and Papa Brian's house, so she can spend some quality time with the grandparents. But also so she and Daddy don't go crazy in a hotel room in CA for 6 days! Morgan is still taking antibiotics to get rid of this stinking ear infection. I think we are on day 41 of antibiotics (this is at least the 5th round). When we get back to GA we will see the doctor one last time before we possibly have to set an appointment for an ENT. Little Miss Morgan is quite the trooper. She has only "complained" one night about her ears - of course she had a 103+ temperature that night and was throwing up. But other than that one night she has absolutely been great.
For those of you that have not seen her in a while, you would be amazed! (Warning: Glowing Remarks About Child From Father) She picks up a new trick/thing each day. She has finally decided that she would roll over on her stomach and not kick and scream the whole time. (I did say "decided". She is one head strong baby - I tell her she gets that lovely trait from her mother.) Since school has been out (a couple weeks now), Morgan and I have gotten to spend a lot of time together. I think Jen is ready for me to go back to work though - Morgan is beginning to take on a lot of my personality traits! Morgan thinks that she is just adorable and hilarious!
Jen and I leave for CA (Anaheim) on Saturday. The trip is not really a vacation for "us" - Jen has to work (CSTE Annual Conference), but I get to play! On Sunday, I am going to see the Dodgers and Phillies play. At some point I may go to the "mouse-house" Disneyland and check out the thousands of ankle-knocking stroller moms and dads. And I also have got to see the new X-Men movie!
